A Conversation with Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, Climate Scientist

Join Dr. Frederic Bertley, COSI President and CEO, and Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, Climate Scientist, for a conversation on one of the most hotly debated scientific issues of today: climate change. Is the evidence solid? Are proposed solutions viable? And why would any of us even care? Join Dr. Katharine Hayhoe as she untangles the complex science behind global warming and highlights the key role our values play in shaping our attitudes and actions on this crucial topic. Dr. Hayhoe will also address what concrete actions can be taken to combat this issue today.

This event is aimed at 6th – 12th grade students!

Teachers can register for their entire class to watch from one screen. Use the link above to register yourself. After you register, you will receive an email with a link to join the webinar.

Students can also register as individuals. If you wish to connect from your own device, students will each need to register using the link above. Students can join from the computer or mobile device with internet access. If students are connecting from their own device, each student must register using their own email address (teachers can share their connection link with students).

We encourage you to prepare questions for Dr. Hayhoe in advance! You can enter a question for Dr. Hayhoe when registering for the program. You will also have the ability to ask questions live during the program via chat. Participant webcams and microphones will not be utilized during this program.
