Huddle up with friends and colleagues\, fellow climate advocates and environmentalists\, for an evening of vibrant discussion. \nAt a time when it’s so easy to despair about the current state and possible fate of our planet\, our creatures\, and our communities\, Katharine Hayhoe invites us to get up off the mat and take a step forward with conviction for the present and hope for the future \n  \nOur discussion will be facilitated by climate justice educators\, Jenna Van Donselaar and Cameron Kritikos. \nJenna Van Donselaar serves her local community in Connecticut as a school garden manager and food justice educator. She is a 2020 graduate of Yale Divinity School where she holds an MAR with a concentration in Religion and Ecology. She has spent the last few years studying the connections between religion and ecology\, looking at the ways we narrate the history of the environmental movement and examining how this storytelling shapes our environmental ethics. Jenna also holds a dual degree in Biology and Religion from Calvin University\, 2018. Currently\, Jenna serves on the Steering Committee for Young Evangelicals for Climate Action\, where she works with other young Christians to advocate for climate justice. \nCameron Kritikos is a third-year Masters of Divinity and Masters of Environmental Management candidate at Yale University in New Haven\, Connecticut. Prior to Yale University\, Cameron served as the Mobilizing and Advocacy Fellow at the Christian Reformed Church’s Office of Social Justice where he connected communities of faith in the U.S. and Canada to sustainable technologies\, elected officials\, worship resources\, and educational opportunities to address climate change. He received his Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from Calvin University in 2017\, and concurrently studied at Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán in Tegucigalpa\, Honduras. \n  \n\n\nRegister today.

This three day event will provide opportunities to learn from leading global and local scholars\, community organizers\, and entrepreneurs including Dr. Katharine Hayhoe\, Chief Scientist for the Nature Conservancy; Kat Cadungog\, Executive Director of the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship; and Tamara Toles O’Laughlin\, Founder of Climate Critical Earth. \nThe Summit\, hosted on Mount Holyoke College’s campus in South Hadley\, Massachusetts\, the ancestral land of the Nonotuck people\, will feature intellectually engaging conversations with experts on the topics of climate refugees and migration\, the built environment\, innovation in sustainability\, and the need for arts and humanities in the climate movement.
